Quick Start
Welcome to WhaleLink. It turns a sentence on your phone into an action by the agent on a remote computer — you speak, it works.
This guide gets your first conversation running in a few minutes.
1. Install and sign in
- iOS: search for "WhaleLink" on the App Store and download it.
- Android: search for "WhaleLink" in your app store, or get the installer from the official website.
On first launch, sign in with your account. WhaleLink supports three account types:
- Username (created by an admin in the backend)
- Email sign-up
- Phone-number sign-up
Forgot your password? Use "Reset password" on the sign-in page. If 2FA is enabled on the account, you will be asked for a verification code at sign-in.
2. Prepare a host
A "host" is the computer that runs the agent (your laptop, workstation, or cloud server).
Install and start the remote-access service on the computer so it is connectable. For the exact commands, see Connect Your Host.
3. Connect to the host
- Open WhaleLink and go to the host list.
- Pick your host and tap Enter.
- If the first connection asks for authorization, follow the on-screen steps.
Once connected, you will see the agent's chat page.
4. Start your first conversation
- Press and hold the voice button at the bottom of the screen and speak; release to send.
- The agent's reply appears on the page; turn on Read Aloud to hear it.
- Prefer typing? Just tap the input box and type.
